I am Pooja, the scent-obsessed person who day-dreamed this idea you now know as The Wicktree. Of course, I am not alone in bringing this idea to life. My equally scent-obsessed teammates and I are delighted to welcome you here to The Wicktree.
We are a team of enthusiastic people who have a collective fervour for all things aroma. For all of us, scents are not just fragrances, they are a trace of romance, nostalgia and even spirituality. That is why, we absolutely love our jobs and that reflects in the candles and fragrances we create.
We use only the choicest ingredients for our products. This includes 100% natural premium, creamy soy wax blend, leadfree cotton wicks and essential oil infused hand-blended fragrances. Each and every candle, it’s form and contents, even the labels on the jars, are thoughtfully designed and created in small batches so that you have a meaningful aroma and gifting experience. You would also be glad to know that a part of our profits goes to various animal rescue and environment restoration efforts, a glimpse of which you can have on our website and social media pages from time to time.

My Story
I am a Humanities scholar. Trained to read between the lines and to romanticize everything, from a fallen leaf to a flowing creek, I found myself romanticizing the aroma part of my life a bit too much. I loved when I was appreciated for my choice of fragrances whether for my self or my home. Mind you, the Gold medals in English Literature hardly ever gave me as much satisfaction as losing a perfume I bought to a friend who loved it so much she couldn’t leave without it!
I knew I had a gift and I wanted to share that with the world. I wanted to share that with you! I started making candles as a hobby, gifting them here and there, mixing up my own scents, learning more and more about the art and science of perfumery.
The Wicktree is a culmination of all that and more. And we’ve come a long way; we recently got to offer our products to a chain of luxury hotels and have already started exporting our candles to other countries. And the journey has been nothing less than thrilling.
