Perfumer: Required Attributes
Educational Qualifications:
- A Masters Degree in Chemistry.
- At least a 1 year Diploma or Certificate Program in Perfumery, Aroma and Cosmetics.
- Internship or experience as a Perfumer in India or abroad is an added attribute.
Responsibilities:
- Developing new fragrances with layered and complex notes that unfold gracefully and are generous but not overwhelming.
- Experimenting to test the dosage of various final combinations in products such as candles, perfumes, sprays, diffuser oils to decide the final ratios of scent to other ingredients.
- Coming up with at least 5 final fragrances in 30 days of testing and evaluation.
- Conducting allergy tests for all fragrances.
- Making sure that the manufacturing environment is safe for their own self and the co-staff. Frequent and regular checks of the apparatus and stock to avoid any hazardous combination or dangerous event.
- Regularly assessing the inventory and making sure that all necessary compounds are in stock for evaluation, experimentation but also production.
- Assisting the Marketing Team to formulate a marketing plan for final fragrances.
- Attending at least One self-development course in Aroma and Perfumery within One year.
- Attend seminars and workshops (sponsored by The Wicktree) to be abreast with the latest developments in the field of perfumery and home fragrances.
Remuneration and Perquisites:
- Salary 35000 Per Month (Negotiable for the deserving candidate)
- 5 days work week.
- 15 Casual leaves per year.
- Self Development Seminars and Workshops sponsored by the organization.
